I wrote a story about the Friday get togethers at Trish's house. Here we are in Trish's sewing room all doing something different. Liz ( hair up) is making an Aussie Christmas card, I'm still playing catch up and doing a block from The Strawberry Thief, Trish is using her Sweet Sixteen and showed us her free motion skills whilst Elaine is trying to put together a glue gun so she can put toghether a free standing lace Christmas wreath.

It must be wonderful to have machine embroidery get togethers. That is why I enjoy making videos in my embroidery studio!!

My sewing room was to be like this, have friends over, but as I live very rurally and narrow creek road, no one wanted to visit. Times have changed in my group and we meet once a month at our local extension office. I am a lonely sewist at home. No one in my family cares to sew, craft or anything that they feel is work, unless it is me fixing their problems.

I know what you mean about sewing friends. The inspire and motivate me to do more. I love to teach so a friend and I started a Sewing and Craft group in our town at the local library. It was a real joy until the lockdown. It's been over a year but we live in hope to meet again.

I too go to embroidery group once a month we all help lift the machines out of the car this is so helpful (my back is not the best) They are a lovely group of ladies
