This is so beautiful and what a keepsake. Wondering if it had a layer of Organza or Washaway so a patch could be made to attach it to the card?? I see no snippee's around the satin stitch reason I am asking.

Hi Peafarm, Thank you for your kind words. All I did was to hoop medium weight tearaway then followed Hazel's instructions in the PDF.( running back and forth from sewing room to computer room) I think for this one I just tore the stabiliser away then used school glue stick on the tearaway and glued onto card. Often I rotary cut the edge but not when it is satin stitch. I gave it to my friend today and she did like it. Now I have second friend's card to do for Thursday.

Hi Margarose - This is lovely. I often make greating cards with embroidered 0r decoratively stitched fabric. To adhere the fabric to the paper card I often use a product called HeatnBond Iron o-On Adhesive Ultra Hold . It is made in the USA & can be found at Joanns. This product is great for adhering fabric to paper cardstock because it does not require steam. You use a dry iron. I have had great success with this. It is a Therm O Web product

Thank you for responding and the other post of UltraHold--I have used that product for patches and things you don't sew over. Lucky friends.
