Thank you for all the informative videos. Rayon and silk threads are really beautiful - they have such a lovely luster that polyester threads just don't have. Polyester threads tend to have more of a sheen rather than that rich luster. That said, I do often use polyester thread for items that might get more wear and tear or might be washed frequently but, for items that are more for decorative purposes or where elegance is desired, rayon (or silk) is the way to go. Yes you are right there. I confess I have never really used polyester threads but most of my embroidery is not going to be washed. Thank you for watching Cindy.
